Domestic Study Away
You don't have to travel abroad to immerse yourself in a different learning environment or even culture!
We offer domestic study away options, which build the skills you need to succeed in life and career - just like study abroad. Students can participate in domestic study away with a short- term faculty led program or participate in a semester or academic year away.
Students applying to domestic study away should work closely with their academic advisor to make sure this experience will fit into your academic plan.

Tri-College Consortium Course Exchange
University of Lynchburg students may also enroll in courses offered at Randolph College and Sweet Briar College during fall or spring terms provided the course is not being offered at University of Lynchburg (refer to your Course Catalog for additional information). Experiential Learning Grant (UL Faculty Led Programs Only)
This University of Lynchburg grant was established to help make off-campus study a viable option for all students. Students studying abroad/away will be awarded 50% of their study abroad/away tuition up to 6 credit hours.
This only applies to students on a University of Lynchburg approved & faculty-led programs.
There is no application necessary for the ELG since it applies to all students enrolled in eligible programs.
