Domestic Study Away

You don't have to travel abroad to immerse yourself in a different culture. We offer domestic study away options, which build the skills you need to succeed in life and career - just like study abroad! Students can participate in domestic study away with a short- term faculty led program or participate in a semester or academic year away.

Students applying to domestic study away should work closely with their academic advisor to make sure this experience will fit into your academic plan. The application deadlines vary. However, for faculty- led programs, the same deadline applies as study abroad. Anyone interested in Domestic Study Away should contact the Center for Global Education at studyabroad@lynchburg.edu

Search our program options by using the search program tabs on the left hand side of the page.

Tri-College Consortium Course Exchange: University of Lynchburg students may enroll in courses offered at Randolph College and Sweet Briar College during fall or spring terms provided the course is not being offered at University of Lynchburg (refer to your Course Catalog for additional information). For more information click here or contact the University of Lynchburg Registrar’s Office at registrar@lynchburg.edu.
