Invest your winter break towards earning 3 academic credits in Spanish language while immersing yourself in the Costa Rican culture. This program is designed for any student of all levels of Spanish language ability—from beginner to advanced. Your first part of the day will consist of studying Spanish taught by local Costa Rican professors; in the afternoon hours you will explore the local culture and practice your Spanish language skills. Some excursions are planned to explore Costa Rica’s natural beauty, rainforests, and beaches and conclude your day enjoying dinner and various cultural events with your carefully selected local host family. What better way to enjoy your winter break than by improving your Spanish language skills while simultaneously experiencing the life and culture of one of Latin America’s most scenic and charming countries!
