University of Lynchburg students enrolled in the Doctoral of Physical Therapy program will have an opportunity to engage in an international and collaborative service learning trip to Belize. Participate in an interdisciplinary DPT Service Learning Experience in Belize working alongside American clinicians at pediatric clinics in Belize City and Belmopan, and a special needs school. Obtain first-hand experience and learn from the speech, occupational, physical, and behavioral therapists for children in underserved communities that collaborate with international partners, build local capacity, and provide culturally-sensitive intervention.
